How long have you been in business?
coaches r us has been an LLC for almost 6 years but I have been coaching high school athletes for over 30 years.
What is your primary product or service?
I prepare high school age athletes to compete at a higher level by improving their strength, agility, quickness and speed. I work with them to improve their understanding of their sport. I also help older athletes to be prepared to move on to a college or university. I am able to work with entire teams.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have been coaching and teaching in the Boise valley since 1980. I am recently retired and wanted to continue to work with young athletes and enjoy the chance to work with them one on one.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I have a particular skill set when it comes to working with this age group. I have an extensive background in functional strength training, speed work and conditioning. I have coached several sports and have access to a large pool of coaches in areas that I do not have expertise. I believe I can work with all types of athletes. I can also help them academically.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
My office is in my home but I work with athletes at several locations. I use the facility that works best for the athlete. I plan to have a building that could be used to train sports teams.

I am the owner and only full time employee. I have access to a pool of coaches that can be used as an athlete needs.

I work with the athlete to create a schedule that works best for them.
